Born in Assam in northeastern India, Tenzin Ngawang who represent Tibet is breaking the internet with his MMA fighting skills. He is the first Tibetan MMA fighter. This 19 year old Tenzin who lives in New York knocked out his opponent in 23 seconds of the first round of the fight at Fight Club Champion 4 held in New Jersey on July 10.
After graduating High School, Ngawang’s passion for Mixed Martial Arts led him to enroll at Omni Martial Art school in Queens where he trains 5 days a week. Ngawang won his debut fight in July, 2015 with a knock out in 23 seconds, and holds a record of 2 wins and one loss.
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is a full-contact sport that combines different fighting styles, including karate, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Vale Tudo, Muay Thai and Brazilian Ju jitsu.
