Bamboo is widely used in day to day life in North East of India which accounts more than 50 percent of India’s bamboo resources. It is used for building huts, bridges, kitchen utensils, show piece, furniture, musical instruments and many other day to day used items. Also bamboo shoots is one of the favorite cuisine used in North East Indian dishes. Cooking food inside hollow of a Bamboo is a traditional method and a common practice by North East Indian people.
