What’s interesting about the Loktak Lake in Manipur is that it is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India. The phumdis that float over the lake are one of the most fascinating things you’ll ever come across. Spending just a day in and around the Lokatak Lake will leave you jaw-dropped. Apart from its sheer natural magnificence, Loktak Lake is also a popular hotspot for water sports, boating and other leisure activities. Also visit the KeibulLamjao National Park, Moirang’s INA Memorial, and the scenic Lakoi Pat while planning any trips to Loktak Lake.
After arrival at Imphal Airport meet and greet with our represesntative. After that travel to hotel/homestay. In the evening you can take part in the Aarti Puja at the Govindajee Temple, the Vaishnavite Temple of Manipur. Overnight at Imphal.

Post breakfast, you will go to visit the State Museum to understand the history, cultural diversity and flora and fauna of Manipur, the Kangla Fort, Women’s Market, Saheed Minar, RCKS Art Gallery, Mapal Kangjeibung which is the oldest living Polo Ground in the world, and the two WWII Cemeteries. Manipur is famous for its handloom and handicraft products and the Women’s market is the best place to pick up such things/souvenirs. Back to hotel/homestay. Overnight at Imphal.
Today morning, you will visit the core area of the Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating National Park to see the Sangai, the brow-antlered deer, or the ‘dancing deer’.After that travel to Loktak lake. You will go for boating at the Loktak Lake to see the fishing activities, floating huts, and the migratory birds. After noon walk around the lake and visit a local museum on one of the islands on the lake. Overnight stay at Loktak Lake.
After breakfast check out from the cottage and you will transfer to the Imphal Airport for your onward journey.
