Located at the border of Nagaland and Manipur, Dzukou Valley has over the years proved to be the ‘next big thing’ in the Northeast. Apart from being a treat to the adventure seekers, Dzukou Valley proves best for nature lovers as well. The vast stretch of lush green valley, and especially the Lily that grows in the valley is sure to take your breath away at the first glance itself. Day 1: Morning pick up from Dimapur Railway station or Airport and travel to Kisama Village. Overnight stay in a beautiful and cozy homestay in Kisama. Pickup time from Dimapur is 11.30 AM. Have a delicious homely dinner and experience some of the local foods.
Day 2: Morning after breakfast travel to Viswema. Our trek will start from the last motorable point in Viswema. It will be about a 3-5 hours trek depending on the pace of the individual. First one hour we have to climb up rocky uneven stairs and the rest will be through a narrow and beautiful mountain path. We shall reach the camping site and the guest house by afternoon. After pitching tents we shall relax and enjoy hot tea and snacks. After that lunch will be prepared by our guide cum porter. You can go to enjoy the surrounding view of the evening sunset after having lunch. After coming back relax and enjoy the night view of the valley. Dinner will be served and we shall stay overnight in tent.
Day 3: Enjoy hot tea along with the morning view of the valley. After breakfast, we shall explore the more into the valley. Afternoon, we shall travel back to our base camp for lunch. Later we shall trek back to Viswema - the last motorable point. Our vehicle will pick us up from there to the homestay in Kisama. Take a rest today. Enjoy your dinner in the homestay.
Day 4: This is the last day of our Dzukou valley trip. After breakfast, we shall visit the Naga Heritage Village. Later we shall travel back to Dimapur from where you can board your train or flight.
